Description

Already have your own reusable coffee cup and looking for more ways to be eco-friendly? Take a look at our awesome Tumblers! Perfect for those yummy milkshakes or juices you might be wanting to order but don't want a throw away cup.

Made from Bamboo these cups feature a screw top lid and a metal straw. These tumblers are not only great for replacing throw away cups when you're out and about but are handy to have at home as well.

Each cup features a design by an Aboriginal artist from the area of Utopia in Central Australia. There are 9 different designs to choose from and each design tells a story by the artist. Each tumbler has the name and image of the artist and the name of this story on its packaging.

Care: These bamboo tumblers are dishwasher safe but cannot be put in the microwave.

Measurements: 15cm (Height - 20cm with straw) by 9.5cm (Width) by 9.5cm (Depth). Volume of 500ml.

Royalties from the sale of each product goes back to the artist and their community.

Material: Bamboo fibre, Corn Flour and Melamine.

Note: Bamboo fibre is an environmentally friendly material due to its ease and speed of growing and its biodegradability. However, products cannot be made out of bamboo fibre alone. There must be a material to help bond the bamboo fibres to hold the shape of the product and in almost all bamboo products on the market, this material is melamine. The quality of melamine can vary but rest assured that the melamine in these products is high-quality, food grade melamine. The percantage of bamboo fibre and melamine can vary a little but is usually around the 45% bamboo, 30% corn flour and 25% melamine ratio. Therefore, although these products are not 100% biodegradable they are still much better for the environment than full melamine or plastic products.
